A small good hill station, Mussoorie. A small lovely place to spend two three days in a lovely weather. A mall road to spend all the day, roaming on the streets, enjoying food at the small food joints. One can spend good hours playing video games at the gaming parlors, which you can find all across the mall road.
Mussoorie is also very approachable from Dehra dun. From there you can just plan a day's visit easily or even one night trip. The journey from Doon is just for one hour.
There are a few hotels in Mussoorie which are good to stay, like, Alka hotel which is on the Mall road. Another one from ITC is also good and even the location is also awesome. Its just situated at the end of the mall road, with a decent walk to the main market.
There are other places too nearby Mussoorie like Kempty Falls, Dhanaulti and Kanatal. All the places are good to visit.
If you wish to stay at Kanatal, that is also a good idea. Club Mahindra's resort there is a nice property to stay at.
